The descriptive phrase,
"a mountain. . .surrounded by water"
will come to mind as you review the photographs
taken at ground level from each mountain property lot.
Phase
One Weiss Lake Property
 But that
thought will become real as you experience the
magnificent views
for yourself. The ridge lines are almost perfectly tiered
offering panoramic views of the lake, rivers,
and mountains from each elevation and from
every lot. The lots have varying growths of hardwoods and pines with
many of the building sites cleared to reduce building costs.
Phase I of The Bluffs consists of
150 of the project's almost 1,200 mountain
and lakeside acres. Phase I is near the center of the property and
overlooks Weiss Lake across almost 270 degrees of view.

Phase I lots
were first released for sale in the fall of 2004, ultimately totaling
60 lots. Most of these lots sold ahead of schedule, resulting
in release of additional lots in Phase Two during 2006, almost a
year ahead of plan. When you visit The
Bluffs you will quickly recognize the value and see why
investors, second home buyers and future retirees have purchased 46
lots during 2006.

 Arrowhead Ridge Mountain Property
Neighborhood - 8 lots - all sold
Arrowhead Ridge has dramatic views to the south to
the main body of the lake from every lot. This is the ridge line
closest to the lake and it has a combination of rolling Bermuda covered
meadows and forests extending to a small streambed. Lots 2 & 7
are especially interesting in that they are large, and completely
tree-covered with flat building sites. Yet, with some selective tree
removal and vista pruning the lake and mountain views will be
panoramic.
 Cherokee
Ridge Mountain Property Neighborhood- 9
lots -one avaialble in the mid $50's
Cherokee Ridge consists of 9 lots of various sizes
and directional orientations. Two of the most private lots in The
Bluffs are located on this ridge and are still available.
Lots 53 and 55 are bordered by streams, have great flat building sites,
and yet, still have lake views.
 Coosa Trail Mountain Property
Neighborhood - 16 lots - Two
available in the mid to high $40's
The lots along Coosa Trail overlook the Coosa
River and the Little River valleys which formed the main body of the
lake. All of the lots offer gently sloping building sites to easily
accommodate basement/terrace levels. Most of the sites have
almost totally unobstructed views of the lake and surrounding mountain
ranges. Lots 45 and 46 are still available, each having
approximately one acre with flat building sites and lake
views. Lot 46 also has a great winter view into deep woods.
 Chattooga Overlook Mountain
Property Neighborhood - 11 lots - one
available
Chattooga Overlook is one of the two highest
ridges in this phase of The Bluffs. It looks out over the
Chattooga River tributary to the southeast and over the main body of
the lake to the south and southwest. It offers lake and
mountain views from multiple directions. Many lots border on
Quail Creek, with its walking and riding trails. The setting
of these lots is enhanced by magnificent 100 year old oak
trees, that date back to the region's early settlers.
 Quail Creek Ridge Mountain
Property Neighborhood - 6
lots - one available at $72,500
Quail Creek Ridge offers some of the most heavily
wooded lots, but it also has some broad meadow expanses which will
likely become front yards of homes along the ridges. This
ridge provides primarily a southeastern view, looking towards the
Chattooga River, but with vista pruning it will also offer southwestern
views of the main body of the lake. The ridge gets its name
from the fact that the lots have hundreds of feet of frontage along
Quail Creek. Lot 61 was released in the fall of 2006 and is
the only lot on this ridge which remains unsold. The views
from lot 61 are panoramic and include the prettiest parts of Weiss Lake
and the Chattooga River. The building site is flat, with
perfect topography for a patio or basement level.
 Gray Fox Estate Mountain
Property Neighborhood - 1
lot - sold
This large lot is closest to the lake of all the lots in The Bluffs
. It is a private lot, with an elevation offering a broad,
panoramic lake view above the trees.
 HighPoint Mountain Property Neighborhood -
6 lots - two available
This ridge line overlooks the lake, rivers and
mountains in several directions, with some of the lots bordering
streams. As the name implies, this is the highest point in Phase I of
The Bluffs development. Lots 70 and 71 will be released in early
2007. Each of those lots border a stream, have
multi-directional views of Weiss Lake, and are perfect for
patio/basement level homes.
